We purchased the King size Lux Estate Hybrid Medium and could not be happier! The quality of this mattress is top tier! I definitely feel like we made the right investment with this mattress and I have already recommended it to many others! I can finally get a full nights sleep without tossing, turning, or my arm falling asleep.

I purchased a mattress on Tuesday with their 0% interest offer. I went through the credit reporting process. It hit me with a hard inquiry. I was approved, but yet I still had to call in to complete the order. The order was complete by a gentleman, but I never received a receipt. I called in the next day for the receipt, I received one and then the next morning two days later I received an email claiming they emailed me before, which they did not, that they need more information from me. They need me to email back my drivers license photo. The first agent was completely rude calling us paranoid, and proclaimed it was Wells Fargo wanting the info. She was so rude. I hung up. The next agent was nicer but she said it wasn't Wells Fargo that wants it. It was Stearns and foster that sometimes requires it. But they could not provide me with who I would be emailing it to and with all the scams going on in this country, this felt shady plus this was not disclosed when I accepted the hard inquiry on my credit. I canceled the order out of frustration due to the lack of any kind of customer service and the misleading procedures and now I'm stuck with a hard inquiry for two years.

It's a fair mattress. Honestly, we tried to exchange it (for the plush version) with Mattress Warehouse within the 90-day exchange window, but Mattress Warehouse would not honor that exchange. So we're stuck with it. We won't be returning to Mattress Warehouse for the rest of our mattress purchases.

We had a S & F years ago.. Bought another brand about 10yrs ago and I have been waiting on it to wear out so I could go back to a S & F So far ( 1 month in) it is super comfy.. I have had some issues with pain across my shoulders since we have been sleeping on it.. I am hoping its just my body getting use to it. It is super comfy and soft. We opted for the medium and Maybe should have gotten the firm.. We shall see

We purchased this mattress in 2025. We tested the floor model and it seemed like a good fit. BUT within a few weeks of sleeping on it it became lumpy, and still is. We should have returned ii within the allowed time but we thought it needed a breaking in period. With much regret we're stuck with it. We will buy a new mattress soon to replace this one. We won't return to a Stearns and Foster brand.

Disappointing return experience on our Stearns & Foster online purchase. After deciding to return the mattress, we filed an online return request and were told a company representative would be in contact. We waited a few weeks and failed to hear from anyone so called customer support. After 2 calls, we finally were sent a link to schedule a pick-up date. The truck failed to show up on the scheduled date. We made more calls - this time to the delivery department - to find out what happened and ended up having to reschedule for another day. Our refund was supposed to have been received 7-10 business days after the mattress was picked up. After 10 business days passed without receiving the refund, we called customer support to check refund status and had to ask to escalate the matter when a satisfactory answer wasn't available. The escalation team found out the returned mattress had not been scanned in at the warehouse after being picked up (as it should have been) and the refund was not yet in process. They got the refund process initiated, which was great, but told us it could take another 7-10 business days to receive the refund. They advised there is no way to expedite the refund, even when the delay in issuing it was due to errors on their end. So when returning a mattress bought online from Stearns & Foster, be aware you'll need to work very closely and proactively with customer support and delivery teams to avoid unexpected issues in the return & refund process.

We ordered a estate firm pillow top matress after sleeping on a worn 18 year old economical serta. It had worn sorings and my back hurt if I slept the wrong way. First night it was too stiff but I knew it would break in. Im not used to a firm but with pillow top helps. Now I am able to sleep with ease in any position without worrying about hurting my back. It is a soft supportive firm pillowtop that is comfortable. I hope it lasts a long time because I sleep in the same spot each night I am concerned if the springs will last a long time? But right now I am satisfied with the matress. I recieved an email from customer service about the reciept and I replied to the email. It has been a week since my reply, so I called and they said they recieved my email, and I should get a reply in a few more days. I thought the communication woth stearns and foster can be slow because their representatives foward my messages to other employees vs my emails going straight to the correct department?? But other then the time it takes to get an answer or communication from my reply, the matress itself appears to be comfortable. I like the try it for o0 days and return it policy but they told me in the phone it costs $175 dollars to return the matress? And after Initiating the return, they may take weeks to pick up the matress? This information was shared to me over the phone and I thought was odd but my response was i could get another matress within 3 days through an authorized dealer and jist store this matress in my garage for pickup in the event I choose to return this item. Also they told me the foundation sale was final and not returnable which I found to be odd. If they advertise a 90 day to try the matress then why isnt the foundation part of the policy? Overall it was a learning experience and I do like the matress

My husband severally broke his neck four years ago. After several surgeries, metal plates, brackets and screws he can only sleep flat on his back, all night, every night!
And every night he would snore, very loudly. I ended up sleeping in another room. The first night on our new StearnsandFoster bed I was able to sleep the entire night with him. He didn't snore! The second night his snoring was the quiet breathing I was used to hearing for the 53 years we've been married. Thank you for the support we both needed for a good nights sleep.

We love this mattress. After changing 3 different mattresses we finally found the one that we can sleep without waking up in pain. We have the soft tight top. I am really surprised this is the definition of soft, but the mattress feels really comfortable yet very stable.

This mattress is very comfortable. The problem I have is it is supposed to be to be 16". I bought sheets for this. They did not fit properly. I have since discovered the bed is actually 14". I feel cheated because it is not what it was suppose to be. I could understand if it was 1/4" off, but not 2". Which makes me say don't trust Stearns and Foster!

We love our Stearns & Foster Mattresses!! We purchased our first one in 2021-the Stearns Hurston Cushion Firm Queen.
When it was time to replace another one of our Mattresses, in 2026, we went right back to the Stearns Estate Firm Tight Top and love it, as well!!!
My husband has a bad back, and these mattresses give him the support he needs. We have two- one for our bedroom and one for our guest bedroom. We want our guests to sleep soundly and comfortably!!

This is a great mattress. Very comfortable, not too soft , not too firm.
The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 star is because I'm not a fan of memory foam, but you can't get a mattress without it.

We started having issues with this mattress within the first year. It quickly became saggy and developed noticeable sunken areas, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. Since sleeping on this mattress, I have also developed constant hip pain.
Unfortunately, the warranty process has been frustrating. They require you to take specific measurements using a yardstick, which is not something most people have readily available.
This was one of the most expensive mattresses we've ever purchased, and by far the worst. It is also incredibly heavy and difficult to move.
I would not recommend Stearns & Foster. In our experience, the quality and comfort did not justify the price. Save your money and look elsewhere

So far excellent, we chose the firm Estate Euro top in a king size and have been happy with it. We preferred the coil spring style mattress vice the comfort foam because of needing the extra support. Well made product!

We bought a new Stearns and Foster mattress because ours was over 10 years old. Just finishing knee surgery I really wasn't able to sleep in the bed for about 4 weeks. Sleeping in it now but we find it comfortable but wonder if we should have gotten the softer mattress.

Ordered this mattress online (medium firmness) and process was smooth and delivery was great. The mattress is very comfortable for me as I have bad hips and shoulders. However, the mattress had an oder when delivered which I believe may be from the memory foam. We had to air it out for 3 weeks before we could sleep on it. Did not expect this from an expensive matress.

We bought the mattress under the guarantee to return it if we did not like it. We asked for an exchange to the medium firm mattress We have been on the phone for weeks trying to get an exchange. We excepted that we would've to pay the shipping cost of $175. But now they are adding a $516 dollar additional charge on top because that they say it is an upgrade. But it is the same lux estate brand and the actually it is a downgrade from firm to soft. WHAT A RIP OFF. After research, there are warning about this company and people are recommended to file a complaint to your state attorney general. We now want to return everything and get out money back. They are refusing. We will start legal persecution including damages, and time spent resolving this issue. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, SAVE THE HARDSHIP AND PAIN!!!!!!

I'm extremely happy with this mattress. After a long day, I feel like I'm melting into the bed. It stays fairly cool, but we had to try different mattress covers that stayed cool as well. The medium firmness was perfect for us as it provides great support for my back, but doesn't provide pressure points. Before this mattress, I would wake up with pain in my shoulder. I haven't had shoulder pain in the morning with this mattress.

I have had Stearns and fosters but since 2000 I love the way they are made. They hold up well this past year. I thought I'd try a cheaper brand and needless to say after a few weeks I moved that bed to another room and purchase my Stearns and foster I went to check out the beds at the dealers and fell in love with the most expensive one, however, could not afford the most expensive one so I settled for the estate, soft pillow top, which was much better than the prior brand I had purchased. I am a die hard, Sterns and foster customer. I have even converted my sister and my niece to purchasing only Stearns and Foster.. ordering it online was really easy and the delivery was right on time. Everything you expect it would be in white glove Service thank you so much..

My husband and I are so pleased with our split king mattress set, I'm a side sleeper and he's a back sleeper and the medium firm mattress is perfect along with the adjustable base. We had previously owned a Queen Stearns and Foster which served us great. We were able to move my husband out of a medical bed earlier as part of his recovery because of this bed. We couldn't be happier, it was well worth the purchase!

I bought this mattress for my mom & dad as a gift, they absolutely LOVE it! My dad has sleep apnea, so he hast to sleep on his back and my mom has multiple medical problems, including an autoimmune disease that affects her muscle muscles, she is in constant pain. Both of my parents said the mattress is so comfortable that they are able to comfortably sleep through the night and their pain has lessened. They are thrilled with this mattress, and I am thrilled for my parents that the mattress has been so good for their health.

We purchased the Estate medium firm which we tested in the store. This is our third Sterns and Foster mattress but this new design is awful.
As soon as it arrived we called the store thinking, despite the label, they had sent us the firm in error as the bed was very hard. We were told it needed time for the top to release.
It's now been just over a year, it is still very hard and has developed deep body wells and I now have spinal back pain. We rotate this mattress monthly and even rotate a quarter turn sleeping on it cross-wise.
We have had an expert inspect it and the result is the wear is "normal" so there is nothing we can do.
We are looking for alternatives and will need to donate a near-brand-new mattress to find comfort. We are so disappointed.

We bought a CA KING Lux Estate direct from Stearns and Foster. It claims to be a CA King but is too short and leaves at lease 4 inch gap on one side of our bed! We never had this issue over the last three decades of using various brands in CA King size!

This is my second Stearns & Foster bed and I absolutely love it. What surprises me most is that it is even better than the first one I owned.
I bought the Estate Pillow Top soft in king size and from the first night I noticed an improvement in my sleep. I used to suffer from hip ache, but not any more.
I wake up fewer times through the night and wake up feeling great, rather than tired.
The mattress was not cheap, but it is worth every penny, I love it!
What surprised me most is unlike my first Stearns & Foster, I didn't have to get used to this mattress, it exceeded my expectations immediately.
And to top off my delight with my mattress, Stearns & Foster customer services have reached out to me to check that I am happy with my purchase and to answer any questions that I may have.
Buying from Stearns & Foster means not only getting the mattress, it is getting everything that comes with it too. My money has been very well spent, and I love what I bought!!

We had another name brand mattress for a few years, but it just did not give us the support and comfort we were looking for. We found this Stearns & Foster after trying many mattresses. We have had it for about 40 nights now and we both sleep better and wake refreshed.
While the top is soft and plush to the touch, when we lay one it that soft layer turns to support the curves in your body while the underlying firmness of the mattress supports the whole body. Overall, we are very happy and would recommend this mattress to anyone.

I have been sleeping well for 65 years on Stearns and Foster mattresses, and this year, 2026, was a time for an upgrade.
The first mattress was purchased by my fiancé and me at Fair Mercantile in St. Louis, Missouri. We bought a canopy bed frame to accompany the mattress and box springs.
We were stylin', let me tell you!
After a few years it was time to purchase beds for children and Stearns and Foster was our choice.
In early 1990 we were ready to refresh our bedding.,we purchased, you guessed it, Stearns and Foster at Robb and Stuckey in Orlando, where we now lived.
We have been always, so happy with firm and supportive bedding.
Come to 2026, and I received the Consumer Report issue of mattress and bedding "picks".
I studied and shopped for almost two months for new bedding, and in the process came back to Stearns and Foster!
There are many more choices in bedding today than years ago, to be sure, but the endgame for me was/is the names Stearns and Foster, plus the association with Tempurpedic.
I ordered the Estate Pillow Top Firm Queen and the Ease frame.
In two months now, I can fall asleep in five minutes and sleep well all night!
No surprise there, as that's always the way sleeping on a Stearns and Foster mattress has been, since 1960!
The Ease frame was a new choice, and the fact that I have an acid reflux issue made the decision a wise one.
I am faring well with the adjustable head of bed.

My husband is 6'4" has back issues, we were visiting friends and slept over. He woke up the next day asking what kind of bed they had? Stearns and fosters is what they said. The next week we went and bought one. We bought this same mattress over 15yrs ago. Over the years moving we folded the mattress, which is a no no, but this girl stuck with us, the last two yrs, she needed to be gone, so we decided it was time. We ordered a brand new one and had to get the same one, because we know just how wonderful this mattress is. Worth every penny, and you will get your best sleep ever! Will never buy any other kind to sleep on.
