I purchased a 5 in. Foundation to place on my queen size metal bed frame under my existing inner spring mattress that was 12 years old. I knew I needed a new mattress but wasn't sure what kind to get. My old mattress immediately felt a bit better but still needed some improvement. After taking the sleep quizz on what type of mattress I should get for my sleep habits, I decided to purchase a hybrid foam mattress. The brand I selected left a huge 80" x 20" x 20" box at the front door. We couldn't even pick it up so I called to return it immediately
How they got a hybrid mattress in that box I don't know. I then called Tempurpedic again a ordered their hybrid mattress and like the Foundation I purchased from them, it was amazing. They arranged delivery with set up and hauled away my old mattress. Quick and easy ordering, delivery and set up. My back pain is getting better and getting in and out of bed with a lower profile is so much easier. Thank you Tempurpedic.

I had purchased a new bedroom set. The headboard and frame was huge, so the previous simple boards the mattress sat on before would not do. Way too much space between the bottom of headboard and top of mattress. I didn't realize that box springs were a thing of the past (and would have ruined the Tempur-pedic mattress anyway. So I tried those framed box ("box springs) which are just a framed wooden box with wooden pieces going across and vertically. They may work for some mattresses I guess, but it was a joke with my mattress. Could not begin to hold the weight of the mattress and caused me to roll into the middle of the mattress.
Couldn't find anything else. Then 'duh', lightbulb went on and I went online to Tempur-pedic's site, and lo and behold, they had what I needed. Yes, it's pricey, but the mattress is an investment too. It's a perfect pairing. I ordered the foundation, got my confirmation, got a call to schedule my delivery, and got my foundation delivered all within a matter of 4 days! Great customer service!!

My wife and I thought our Tuma Bed Frame was a little too low, so we decided to buy a Tempurpedic Foundation to accompany our Tempurpedic Mattress. We really like the way it looks. Its a perfect addition, not to low and not to high for us to have to get on.

This foundation is sturdy and the finishing material used to cover the outside is designed with a neutral material (dark charcoal with a textured pattern) that coordinates with the exterior of the mattress you might not need a bed skirt.

I had a platform bed which did not sit up high enough and my mattress was 6 inches and it gave me bad back pain. I read everywhere that the only option would be a three inch or a bunkie board but I really did not want that. Besides all the prices were the same. A 9 inch would make my bed way too high. A low profile worked good along with my current 6 inch mattress and then I bought the 3 inch cooling mattress topper to transform my whole bed. I would had loved a mattress from here but my bed would had set down too low still. The price would had been too high for both mattress and topper and it defeat the purpose of getting a topper with one of the nice mattress's on here. This combination worked out better for me. The only complaint I have was that there was a small place on top of the box spring. It looked like glue and it made a little torn hard place on it. The shipping was ok and arrived within a week. I think it would had been a hassle to exchange this box spring because of the small bad place on it. It's something for the mattress to sit on top of so it doesn't bother me as much. This low profile does work with a platform. The 9 inch one would be too high. I believe my platform is about 10 inches. My platform does sit lower than many others. Hope this helps.

I have had bad experiences with other foundations in the past, including a foundation that splintered a lot and got those splinters stuck in my old mattress. Not the case with this one. I trust this foundation to be fully supportive and last a long time.

The size indicated on their website is not accurate, it's few inches shorter than what they are claiming. So you will ends up with gaps around your bed!!!! At first I thought the bed wasn't standard, but when I measured their base and mattress, it's actually short!!! I reached out, they illogically asked for a full picture of measurement which is not possible in my small room unless I take the bed and mattress to the yard and take a picture with a drone!!! So disappointed and sad that I would never ever recommend this. There are many other honest company out there.

My first Tempur-Pedic matress lasted 18 years before the foam gave up. At the time of that purchase, we also bought the foundation and were told that setting the matress on plywood or anything other than the base would void the warrenty, so off we went. This foundation have been squeaking for the past several years, but since the mattress was still good, I didn't want to take it apart to see why. We finally ordered a new mattress and "box spring", at which time, I ripped the old foundation open. It was made of 5/4 wood frame, nailed together, with a cardboard topper. Thats right, cardboard.. Most of the nails were popped out and the cardboard was as you would imagine any old cardboard would be: warped and sagging. These "box springs" cost 350-400 USD and should be made from better materials and assembled with glue and screws for that price.
